He believes that politics is too important to be left to the politicians and everyone should be interested in the issues that are affecting us. He is certain that the tides are a-changing for Singapore and we cannot arrogantly believe that what has worked for the country in the old days of nation-building will work today in our struggle to find the Singaporean identity.

He is a deceptively tolerant and quiet observer who likes to scrutinize the simplest of everyday life's rituals and instructions that sometimes lend clues to policy implications that reveal the depth of the rabbit hole.
